A home blood test of 4 tumour markers linked to liver, pancreas, bowel and prostate health. Blood sample.
Tumour markers are proteins in the blood that can rise with some cancers, but also with many harmless conditions. On their own they can't confirm or rule out cancer, so this test is best for men with a family history of these cancers or whose doctor has advised it. PSA in particular can rise with infection, age or an enlarged prostate. If you have blood in your urine or stool, trouble passing urine or weight loss, see a doctor rather than relying on markers.
Disclaimer: This is a screening package, not a diagnosis. Please review your results with a doctor, who may recommend further tests. For urgent symptoms, call 998 or go to the nearest emergency department.
