About This Package

The Kidney Health Check at Home is an at-home kidney and metabolic health check. It covers blood filtration indicators, electrolytes, urine findings and diabetes-related markers, supporting the early identification of results that need review before symptoms appear.

What's Included:

  • Creatinine and eGFR: Your kidney filtration rate, with eGFR calculated from creatinine
  • Urea: Reflects how well waste is being cleared from the blood
  • Uric Acid: Associated with gout and the load placed on the kidneys
  • Sodium, Potassium and Chloride: Your core electrolyte balance
  • Calcium: An important mineral affected by kidney function
  • Urine Routine Analysis: A general screen of the urine for abnormal findings
  • Urine Albumin-to-Creatinine Ratio (ACR): The standard early marker of protein leaking into the urine
  • HbA1c: Shows your average blood sugar over the past three months

Why It's Useful:

  • Combines two of the key early-warning kidney markers in one check
  • Particularly relevant if you live with diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Blood and urine samples are both collected at home
  • Produces simple numbers you can track over time

Ideal For:

Adults with diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of kidney disease, and anyone seeking kidney health monitoring on clinical advice.

Before Your Visit:

  • Fasting is generally not required for this panel
  • Drink water normally, but avoid excessive hydration just before the urine sample
  • Provide a clean-catch midstream urine sample as instructed
  • Avoid intense exercise before the urine albumin test
  • Report any fever, menstruation or urinary symptoms, as these can affect urine results

All You Need To Know About Kidney Health Check at Home

Who should take this package?

Adults with diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of kidney disease, and anyone monitoring kidney health on clinical advice.

Is fasting required?

No. Fasting is generally not required for the tests in this package.

How long does the visit take?

Around 20 to 30 minutes, including both the blood draw and the urine sample collection.

Why is the urine ACR important?

The albumin-to-creatinine ratio corrects for how dilute your urine is, which makes it the standard and far more reliable way to detect and stage early protein leak than albumin measured alone.

Does one abnormal result mean I have kidney disease?

No. A single abnormal eGFR or urine albumin result does not confirm chronic kidney disease. Persistence over time and clinical follow-up are what matter.

Disclaimer: Screening package. Not a diagnosis. Results require clinical interpretation.
