1. General
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, accessing, or using the Thrive — The 100 Biomarkers Program ("Thrive", "the Program"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not proceed with purchase or use of the Program.
These Terms apply to all Thrive products, including the one-time test package and subscription packages, unless a specific section states otherwise.
1.2 About the Program
Thrive is a preventive health assessment service operated through the myAster platform. The Program analyses up to 100 biomarkers from blood and urine samples collected at the user's specified location and delivers a digital health report accessible via the myAster application.
Thrive is a preventive assessment service. It does not constitute medical diagnosis, emergency care, or clinical treatment. Results and insights are intended to support health awareness and informed decision-making in conjunction with qualified clinical guidance.
1.3 Eligibility
Thrive is available to individuals aged 18 years or older only. By purchasing the Program, you confirm that you or the intended recipient meets this age requirement.
1.4 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users through the myAster app or by email with reasonable notice prior to the changes taking effect.
2. Service Description
2.1 What Thrive Includes
Home sample collection by a qualified professional
Laboratory analysis of blood and urine samples covering up to 100 biomarkers
Digital health report delivered via the myAster application
Video consultations with qualified clinicians, depending on the package purchased
2.2 What Thrive Does Not Include
Medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, or prescription services
Emergency or urgent care
In-person specialist consultations, unless separately arranged
Ongoing monitoring outside scheduled test cycles
2.3 Third-Party Laboratories
Sample analysis is conducted by accredited third-party laboratories. While we work only with accredited partners, we do not control laboratory processing timelines and shall not be responsible for delays or errors arising from such third parties.
3. Package Types and Purchase
3.1 One-Time Test Package
The one-time test package provides a single full Thrive assessment. The specific services included are shown at checkout and in your package confirmation.
3.2 Subscription Package
Subscription packages provide recurring access to the services included in the purchased package. Purchase initiates a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
3.3 Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed at checkout on the myAster platform and are inclusive of VAT. Payment is required in full at the point of purchase.
3.4 Purchasing for Dependents
Thrive may be purchased for dependents registered on your myAster account, subject to eligibility requirements and applicable consent.
4. Booking, Sample Collection, and Results
4.1 Booking a Home Collection
Following purchase, you must book a home sample collection appointment through the myAster app. Appointments are subject to availability.
4.2 Preparation Requirements
Specific preparation requirements, including fasting, may apply depending on the biomarker panel. Instructions will be provided at booking confirmation.
4.3 Rescheduling and Missed Appointments
You may reschedule a home collection appointment before the scheduled appointment time, subject to availability. Missed appointments may result in forfeiture of the session, and no replacement or refund will be provided.
4.4 Result Delivery
Results are typically available within a few days of sample collection reaching the laboratory. Timelines are indicative only and may vary.
4.5 Medical Disclaimer
Thrive results and insights are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you experience urgent symptoms or a medical emergency, seek immediate care through emergency services.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
5.1 One-Time & Multi-Session Packages — Cancellation
You may cancel a one-time or multi-session package at any time before your first appointment is completed.
5.2 One-Time & Multi-Session Packages — Refunds
For one-time packages, if you cancel before your appointment is completed, a full refund will be initiated to your original payment method. For multi-session or bundle packages, no refunds shall be issued once the first session has been completed.
5.3 Subscription — Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through the “My Packages” section of the myAster app. Cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle where applicable.
5.4 Effect of Subscription Cancellation
Stops all future subscription renewals and billing
No refund is issued for the current paid billing cycle
Existing entitlements remain valid until the end of the current billing cycle
5.5 Resubscription After Cancellation
If your subscription has been cancelled, you may resubscribe at any time through the myAster app.
6. Subscription Terms
6.1 Automatic Renewal
By purchasing a subscription package, you authorise us to automatically charge your payment method at the end of each billing cycle.
6.2 Service Allocation and Expiry
Each billing cycle provides an allocation of services as specified in your package. Unused service entitlements do not carry over unless otherwise stated.
6.3 Payment Failure
A 2-day grace period begins from the failed payment attempt
No new service entitlements are provisioned during the grace period
No automatic retry will be attempted
If payment is not resolved, the subscription will be automatically cancelled
6.4 Subscription Cancellation by User
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the “My Packages” section of the myAster app.
6.5 Resubscription
You may resubscribe at any time through the myAster app. A new billing cycle begins from the date of your new purchase.
6.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change the subscription price at renewal. We will notify you in advance where a price change affects your next renewal.
6.7 Subscription Plan Availability
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or replace subscription plans.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Nature of Service
Thrive is a preventive health assessment service. We do not warrant that the Program will identify all health conditions, risks, or abnormalities.
8.2 Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant package.
8.3 Third-Party Services
We shall not be liable for any acts, omissions, delays, or failures of third-party providers.
9. General
9.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
9.2 Severability
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
9.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms communicated at checkout, constitute the entire agreement.
