Dr. Jyoti Upadhyay

Dr. Jyoti Upadhyay is a highly experienced Specialist in Internal Medicine with over 25 years of clinical practice across the UAE, Oman, and India. She has extensive expertise in preventive healthcare, adult medicine, and the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her principal areas of clinical interest include diabetes mellitus, hypertension, thyroid disorders, dyslipidemia, cardiometabolic health, infectious diseases, and preventive health screening.

With a strong foundation in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Jyoti is skilled in caring for patients with complex medical conditions and multiple comorbidities. She follows an evidence-based, patient-centred approach, with a focus on timely diagnosis, disease prevention, healthy lifestyle interventions, and appropriate follow-up to support better health outcomes.

Dr. Jyoti began her career in the Gulf region in 2001 as a Registrar in the Accident & Emergency Department at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman, before serving as a Specialist in Accident & Emergency at Royal Hospital, Oman. During her tenure, she was actively involved in emergency care, cardiac resuscitation, clinical audit programmes, and the education and mentoring of residents and interns.

Since August 2014, she has been practicing at Aster Hospital, Mankhool, Dubai, where she provides Adult Internal Medicine Care, with a particular focus on Preventive Medicine, accurate Clinical Evaluation, and the Management of Chronic and Lifestyle-related Medical Conditions.
