Duratears Eye Ointment is a lubricating ophthalmic preparation designed to provide prolonged moisture and protection for dry or irritated eyes. Its formula contains white petrolatum, mineral oil and anhydrous liquid lanolin, which form a smooth protective layer over the eye surface to reduce moisture loss and support lasting lubrication. The ointment provides temporary relief from dryness-related symptoms such as burning, stinging, irritation and discomfort and is particularly suitable for use at night when longer-lasting protection may be required. Temporary blurred vision may occur immediately after application because of the ointment texture. The product is intended for use in the eyes only and should be used according to the enclosed instructions.
