Scabi Permethrin 5% Lotion is a topical antiparasitic medicine used for the treatment of scabies, a contagious skin infestation caused by mites. The lotion is applied over the skin to eliminate mites and their eggs and may help improve symptoms such as intense itching, redness, rash and skin irritation associated with infestation. It is intended for external use only and should be applied carefully to all required body areas according to the enclosed instructions. Mild burning, stinging, redness or temporary worsening of itching may occur after application, and itching can continue for several weeks even after successful treatment. Close household and intimate contacts may also require treatment at the same time to reduce the risk of reinfestation.
