Orsalit Banana Oral Rehydration Solution Sachets are formulated to support effective rehydration and replacement of essential electrolytes during diarrhoea, vomiting, or other situations associated with increased fluid loss. The reduced-osmolarity formula combines Glucose Monohydrate with Sodium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, and Potassium Chloride to support the simultaneous absorption of water, sodium, and glucose in the digestive tract. Sodium and Chloride help restore minerals lost through dehydration, while Potassium supports normal fluid balance, muscle function, and nerve activity. The prepared solution has an osmolarity of 230 mOsm/L and provides a carefully balanced concentration of glucose and electrolytes for oral rehydration. The banana-flavoured formula is suitable for children from 6 months of age as well as adults and contains no milk protein, lactose, or gluten.
