For oral feeding may be fed at room temperature or chilled
For tube feeding the flow rate and volume are dependent on patient’s condition and tolerance pump feed at room temperature (not exceeding 25 °C) with an 8 Fr or larger tube
Additional fluid requirement should be met by giving water
Care should be taken to avoid contamination of the product during preparation or administration
Once opened, cover and place in a refrigerator, discarding unused feed after 24 hours.

Description

Nepro High Protein is a 1.8kcal/ml, energy dense, oral nutritional supplement and tube feed, for use as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement for patients with chronic or acute kidney disease who are on haemodialysis or continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), cirrhosis and those with other conditions requiring a high-energy, low electrolyte, low volume enteral feed.
