Description
Moviprep Powder For Oral Solution is a bowel cleansing medicine used in adults to empty the bowel before procedures such as colonoscopy, bowel examination, or surgery when prescribed by a doctor. Each treatment pack contains 2 Sachet A and 2 Sachet B, and one dose is prepared by dissolving 1 Sachet A together with 1 Sachet B in water to make 1 litre of solution. The full treatment usually makes 2 litres of Moviprep solution and must be taken with additional clear fluids as directed by the healthcare provider. Moviprep contains macrogol with electrolytes and ascorbic acid components, which work by drawing water into the bowel and producing watery bowel movements to clear the intestine. This medicine should be taken only as instructed before the scheduled procedure, and users should stay close to a toilet after drinking it. Possible side effects may include nausea, bloating, abdominal pain, vomiting, anal discomfort, headache, chills, tiredness, dehydration, or electrolyte imbalance. These are not all the possible side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider if symptoms become severe, if vomiting prevents completion of the dose, or if you have heart, kidney, bowel, or electrolyte problems before use.
