Description
Maxigesic PE Tablets are a prescription-strength combination medicine formulated to provide triple-action relief from cold, flu and sinus symptoms. Each tablet contains a blend of paracetamol (500 mg) a proven analgesic and fever reducer that helps block pain signals and lower elevated temperature; ibuprofen (150 mg) a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation, pain and swelling; and phenylephrine hydrochloride (2.5 mg) a nasal decongestant that temporarily shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages to ease blocked or congested nose. This patented combination is designed for adults and children aged 12 years and older to manage a broad spectrum of upper-respiratory symptoms such as headache, sore throat, fever, body aches, nasal congestion, sinus pressure and general discomfort associated with common cold, flu and sinusitis. The formula targets multiple symptoms at once, making it useful when suffering from simultaneous pain, fever and congestion. The tablets are taken orally, typically 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours, following your healthcare provider's advice.
