Ego QV Face Gentle Cleanser has been specifically formulated to gently cleanse dry or sensitive skin. The creamy formulation helps protect against the drying effect of cleansing and leave skin feeling fresh, soft and moisturised. The formula is soap-free, fragrance-free, colour-free, lanolin-free and propylene glycol-free. The formula is gently formulated for the face and contains vitamin E which moisturises skin as you cleanse. It is pH balanced, non-comedogenic and suitable for dry or sensitive skin. Safflower Oil replenishes the natural moisture level of the skin to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. Safflower Oil is an occludent moisturiser which assists in reducing the effect of moisture loss. The major fatty acid of safflower oil is linoleic acid which has anti-inflammatory, anti-acne and skin renewal benefits. The result is smoother skin that is visibly more radiant and refreshed. Besides this, addition of tocopherol helps repair, protect and smoothes skin. It has antioxidant, anti-pruritic benefits and tocopherol also helps to improve the appearance of age spots, increase elasticity and skin barrier function, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Another active moisturising ingredient Glycerin, is a humectant, helping to draw and hold water to the skin to maintain hydration. Moisturizing feature of glycerin can produce long-lasting moisturisation on the skin. At high humidity, Glycerin acts as a humectant, while at low humidity it acts as a skin moisturiser and conditioner by inhibiting lipid phase transition. Glycerin has the effect of moisturizing the skin and improves skin texture. It also protects the skin from external stimuli by strengthening its barrier.
