Alkasolv Uractiv Oral Granules - 30 Sachets

Alkasolv Uractiv Oral Sachets are prescription-only granules used to support the management and prevention of urinary stone formation in people with acidic urine or a tendency to develop kidney stones. Each sachet contains potassium citrate 20mEq, magnesium citrate 11mEq and vitamin B6 25mg. Potassium citrate works as a urinary alkalinising agent by increasing urine pH and citrate levels, helping reduce the conditions that allow certain stones to form. Magnesium citrate supports urinary mineral balance, while vitamin B6 contributes to normal metabolic processes involved in oxalate regulation. The formula may also be recommended after lithotripsy to support urinary tract management and reduce the risk of stone recurrence. The granules must be dissolved in water and used strictly according to the prescribed dosage. Possible side effects may include nausea, abdominal discomfort or diarrhoea, while people with kidney impairment, high potassium levels or those taking medicines that increase potassium require careful medical supervision.
