Description
Scabiderm Cream is a topical antiparasitic medicine used for the treatment of scabies and lice infestations. It contains permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that interferes with the nerve function of mites and lice, causing paralysis and death of the parasites and their eggs. For scabies treatment, the cream is generally applied in a thin, even layer over clean, dry and cool skin, covering all body areas specified in the enclosed instructions. Temporary burning, stinging, redness, irritation or itching may occur after application, and itching can persist for several weeks even after the infestation has been successfully treated. The cream is for external use only and must be kept away from the eyes, mouth, mucous membranes and broken skin. Close household and intimate contacts may also require simultaneous treatment to reduce the risk of reinfestation.
