DeflaGyn Vaginal Gel is a class IIa medical device intended to support the spontaneous remission and regression of unclear cervical smear findings, HPV induced cervical lesions, p16 or Ki 67 positive cervical lesions, and cervical erosions. It is not an antibiotic or antiviral medicine and should be used as part of cervical health management under the guidance of a gynaecologist. The formula contains highly dispersed silicon dioxide and Deflamin, a patented combination of sodium selenite and citric acid. Silicon dioxide binds potentially harmful particles and pathogens within the vaginal environment, while the antioxidant components help neutralise oxidative stress associated with cervical tissue changes. The gel is applied intravaginally using the supplied applicators and forms a local protective treatment layer around the cervix. A standard treatment course is commonly used for 3 cycles of 28 days, with breaks during menstruation where applicable, according to the leaflet and medical advice. Mild burning, itching, increased vaginal discharge, or local irritation may occur in some users. These are not all the possible effects. Consult your healthcare professional if symptoms become severe, unusual bleeding occurs, or irritation does not resolve.
