Pantozol 20mg Pantoprazole Tablets are gastro resistant tablets containing pantoprazole, a medicine from the proton pump inhibitor group that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used for acid related conditions such as heartburn, acid reflux, gastro esophageal reflux disease, and prevention or management of acid irritation when recommended by a doctor or pharmacist. Pantoprazole works by blocking the stomach acid pump, which helps reduce acid levels and supports relief from reflux symptoms and healing of acid related irritation. The tablet should be swallowed whole and should not be crushed or chewed. This medicine may not provide immediate relief and should be used as directed. Possible side effects may include headache, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, gas, dizziness, dry mouth, tiredness, sleep disturbance, or skin rash. These are not all the possible side effects of pantoprazole. Talk to your healthcare provider if any side effect bothers you, becomes severe, or does not go away.
