Povid™ Pessaries has fungicidal, trichomonacidal and bactericidal activity covering many aerobic anaerobic organisms and Gardneralla vaginalis. Povidone iodine is nonstaining to the skin and colour of the compound can be washed off with soap and water. Povidone lodine in Povid™ Pessary is an iodophore having broad spectrum antimicrobial action.
