How to Use

Adults and children aged over 12 years can take 1-2 tablets of Panadol Extra with Optizorb Formulation (500mg Paracetamol, 65mg Caffeine) every 4-6 hours with water as required. Do not exceed the maximum of 8 tablets in a 24-hour period. Do not use for more than a few days at a time except on medical advice.
Panadol Extra contains caffeine. So, it is preferable to avoid medicines or food that contain caffeine as well. Foods like coffee, tea, cola drinks and chocolate should be avoided as they may add to your total caffeine intake. Increased caffeine intake can cause difficulty in sleeping, you may experience tremors and/or have chest discomfort.
This product contains paracetamol; do not take it with other medicines that also contain paracetamol. Paracetamol is contained in many medicines to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu, and sleep medicines. If you have liver or kidney disease, talk to your doctor before taking paracetamol. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as this may be harmful, including serious harm to your liver.
