How to Use

Suggested dosage for Adults : 2 tablets (20mg) Hycom four times daily. For symptomatic relief of irritable bowel syndrome, the recommended starting dose is 1 tablet three times daily, this can be increased up to 2 tablets four times daily if necessary. In spasmodic dysmenorrhoea, treatment should commence two days before the expected onset of the period and continue for three days after menstruation has begun Or as directed by the Physician.
Children : (6 - 12 years) 1 tablet (10mg) Hycom three times daily Or as directed by the Physician.

Description

Hycom Tablet exerts a spasmolytic action on the smooth muscles of gastrointestinal, biliary and genito-urinary tracts. Peripheral anticholinergic action results from a ganglion blocking action with in visceral wall as well as from anti-muscarinic activity. It is an antispasmodic used for symptomatic relief of gastrointestinal or genito-urinary disorders characterized by smooth muscle spasm. Hyoscine is also prescribed by health care practitioner for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, spastic colon, spastic disorders of the biliary tract, spastic pain in dysmenorrhea etc.
