FerMed 100mg/5ml Injection is an iron-containing medicine. It contains iron in the form of an iron (III) sugar complex (iron (III) sucrose complex). FerMed is used intravenously to treat iron deficiency if (oral) treatment with iron tablets is not possible or has not worked.
