Description

Elocom cream is a topical steroid that is used to treat certain skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and rash. It helps reduce symptoms like swelling, itching, and redness and effective in treating skin conditions with inflammation and itching such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It works by reducing the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation of the skin. When used correctly it is a safe and effective treatment. In treating psoriasis, it reduces the scaly, itchy patches which may develop on the elbows, knees, scalp and other parts of the body. In addition to reducing inflammation (redness and swelling) in the area that they are applied, topical corticosteroids also suppress the immune response, reduce cell turnover, and constrict (narrow) blood vessels.
