Ingredients

• Inactivated meningococcal polysaccharides (Serogroups A, C, W, Y) — the four strains required by Saudi authorities for Hajj entry.
• Protein conjugate components — boost durable immune response, giving up to 5 years of protection (one shot covers multiple Hajj or Umrah trips).
• Aluminum adjuvant — strengthens immunity.

Purpose
To protect Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from meningitis and bloodstream infections caused by Neisseria meningitidis, and to satisfy the mandatory entry requirement set by Saudi authorities.

Why it's Useful
Hajj brings more than two million pilgrims into close contact across Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, and the Haram. Crowding, shared tents, and shared transport make airborne bacterial infections like meningococcal disease spread fast. The vaccine provides effective protection during the rituals and for years afterwards.
