Reparil 20mg tablet contains an active ingredient Amorphous Aescin which is an anti-inflammatory drug. It works by acting on the vascular wall by decreasing the extravasation of fluid into the tissue and speeding up the subsidence of edema (swelling due to fluids). It also decreases inflammation and improves circulation. Reparil tablets are enteric coated, enteric coatings are polymers that are put on certain tablets to prevent them from dissolving in acid, as stomach is very acidic, and some drugs need to be protected from the acid in stomach to work effectively. Reparil 20mg enteric coated tablet is used for the treatment of localized swelling and congestion due to injuries. It also reduces swelling due to fluids (edema).
