Description

Zerostat VT Spacer works by helping to coordinate the important sequence of actions required for optimal for drug delivery using a metered dose inhaler (MDI) containing asthma medication. This includes: Pressing down on the actuator of the MDI when inhaling. Breathing in deeply as soon as the medication is released. Holding the medication in the lungs for a few seconds before releasing the breath.

How to Use

You should use your ZerostatVT Spacer by following the instructions provided.
Remove the mouthpiece cover of the MDI and shake the inhaler.
Fit the mouthpiece of the MDI into the end of the Zerostat Spacer.
Breathe out as far as is comfortable and then place your mouth over the mouthpiece of the chamber. Press down on the top of the inhaler to release a dose of medication into the chamber of the Zerostat Spacer.
Breathe in through your mouth until your lungs are full.
Hold your breath for a few seconds then exhale through your nose.
If a second dose is required, repeat steps 3-6, if not remove the inhaler and breathe normally.
Replace the MDI mouthpiece cover and the cover of the Zerostat Spacer.
Rinse your mouth after use.
