Description
Acretin 0.025% Topical Cream For Acne Treatment is the medication used to treat acne. It is formulated with 0.025% tretinoin. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It is a topical (applied to the skin) form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself. It works by lightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin, and slowing down the way the body removes skin cells that may have been harmed by the sun. Tretinoin works best when used within a skin care program that includes protecting the treated skin from the sun. It could lessen acne breakouts overall, lessen their intensity, and hasten the healing of any breakouts that do occur. You may start noticing results from using tretinoin after 2-3 weeks but it usually takes 6 or more weeks to experience the full effects. Acretin is also used to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin.
